Fertility & Women’s Health
If you are thinking about trying to conceive or just want help regulating your cycles/hormones, both acupuncture and nutrition can be hugely beneficial. All our sessions are completely confidential and tailored to your individual needs.
We also offer 1-1 video or in person Fertility Strategy Sessions where act as a second pair of eyes to asses your personal situation. We’ll take a detailed look at your fertility history look at any lab results, make suggestions for any further testing and give tailored guidance on how to balance & support your reproductive health. If you are already undergoing any assisted fertility treatments including IVF, we talk you through each stage of your treatment, what to expect and how you might feel. We answer any questions you might have no matter how silly or irrelevant they may seem.
Trying to conceive can be an extremely stressful and lonely time. Acupuncture and Nutrition are holistic practices that account for the entire person. We believe in the connection between the physical body and the mind, so we will work with you to not only alleviate any physical symptoms but also ensure your mental health is in the best place possible.
We see women at all stages of their fertility journey and can help with things such as:
Male Factor (low sperm count/motility etc.)
Egg freezing, ICSI, IUI and IVF
Endometriosis
Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
Recent/Recurrent miscarriage
Absent, painful, irregular or heavy periods
Post Pill Amenorrhea (lack of a period after stopping the oral contraceptive pill)
Fibroids
ART, egg freezing & IVF
Going through any procedure of Assisted Reproductive Technology, ART including egg freezing and/or IVF, can be a hugely challenging and emotional time. It is extremely demanding on both the body and mind. Acupuncture can significantly contribute to the chances of success with egg freezing / IVF and can support your mental and physical health throughout the process.
Furthermore, the most recent evidence shows that acupuncture improves IVF conception and live birth rates by an astonishing 32%!
